La street photography è il genere fotografico che si occupa di rappresentare la vita umana nelle sue molteplici sfumature e il contesto nel quale si consuma il suo dramma, la metropoli con le sue inumerevoli strade. I soggetti sono uomini, donne, bimbi e anziani che interagiscono fra loro o con l’ambiente, bloccati in attimi e situazioni significative che esprimono felicità, ironia, disagio, drammi sociali. L’immagine con il suo contenuto emotivo, diventa la testimonianza di un frammento di realtà che ha avuto luogo in una zona del mondo e permette a tutti di venirne a conoscenza.
